On 26 February 2026, the Armenian British Business Chamber (ABBC), in collaboration with Armenia Marriott Hotel Yerevan, hosted Thirsty Thursday at The Square. The evening brought together members of the ABBC community for relaxed networking and conversation, while also marking the welcoming of the Chamber’s newest Board Member, Yvo van Dijk, the newly appointed General Manager of Armenia Marriott Hotel Yerevan, succeeding Denis Laus.

The gathering provided an opportunity for members and partners to reconnect, strengthen professional relationships, and engage with the Chamber’s growing network in a welcoming setting.

Event Highlights

The evening featured several memorable moments that added to the lively and engaging atmosphere of the gathering.

A special welcome was extended to Yvo van Dijk as he joined the Board of the Armenian British Business Chamber. To mark the occasion, ABBC presented Mr van Dijk with a special gift on behalf of the Chamber, symbolising the start of his engagement with the ABBC community and its continued collaboration with Armenia Marriott Hotel Yerevan.

Adding an element of excitement to the evening, a raffle draw was held for attendees. Three lucky participants received gift vouchers generously provided by Armenia Marriott Hotel Yerevan, while two additional winners were presented with bottles of wine gifted by ABBC.

The evening was further complemented by wine kindly provided by ABBC member Stork Wines, contributing to the relaxed and convivial atmosphere as members enjoyed informal networking throughout the event.

Looking Ahead

ABBC looks forward to welcoming members to further networking and business-focused gatherings throughout the year, continuing to provide opportunities for meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and connection within the Chamber’s community.
