Public-Private Dialogue Platform Session with the State Revenue Committee of the RA

On 30 September, the Armenian British Business Chamber - ABBC hosted a Public–Private Dialogue Platform session with the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia, bringing together representatives of the public and private sectors for an open and constructive discussion.

The session opened with remarks by Aram Pinajyan, President of the Board, ABBC, and Tasha Harris, Deputy Head of Mission, British Embassy Yerevan.

The keynote discussion featured Mr. Eduard Hakobyan, President of the State Revenue Committee, and Mr. Vrezh Mkhitaryan, Deputy.

The discussion focused on key developments in Armenia’s tax and customs administration, including ongoing reforms, digitalization, the application of artificial intelligence, and new approaches to tax administration. Mr Hakobyan highlighted the importance of direct dialogue with the private sector in fostering a fair and transparent business environment, as well as the Committee’s ongoing efforts to expand the use of data analysis, risk assessment, and artificial intelligence tools in tax administration.

This initiative reflects ABBC’s ongoing commitment to fostering structured dialogue and closer cooperation between the public and private sectors in Armenia.
