On April 10, 2026, the Armenian British Business Chamber (ABBC) held its Annual General Assembly at Red Bridge Yerevan, bringing together representatives of the British Embassy Yerevan, member companies and partners.
The event highlighted the Chamber’s role in advancing Armenia–United Kingdom economic cooperation. Opening remarks were delivered by Board President, Mr Aram Pinajyan, and Her Excellency Ambassador Alexandra Cole, who emphasised the importance of bilateral economic relations.
This year’s Assembly was particularly significant, as the Chamber announced the milestone of surpassing 100 member companies, underscoring its continued growth and influence within Armenia’s business environment.
During the event, the Chamber also announced one of its next strategic steps—joining a global network of chamber of commerce, marking an important advancement in expanding international business connections and enhancing Armenia’s investment attractiveness.
ABBC Executive Director, Ms Lusin Achoyan, presented upcoming strategic programmes and initiatives aimed at supporting the development of Armenia’s business environment.
The Assembly also featured presentations of social and environmental initiatives led by the Chamber’s member non-governmental organisations: FPWC and Learning Mission Armenia.
The Armenian British Business Chamber continues its active cooperation with the British Embassy in Armenia, as well as with the governments of the Republic of Armenia and the United Kingdom, contributing to the development of bilateral trade and the investment environment.
