ABBC Members Contribute to RISE Powered by Silicon Mountains 2026

On June 3, 2026 RISE Powered by Silicon Mountains 2026 brought together leading representatives from the technology, engineering, and defence sectors to discuss innovation, industrial development, and the future of Armenia’s economy.
ABBC is pleased to highlight the active participation of Chamber members Philip Morris Armenia, Synopsys Armenia, and Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine (ZCMC) in the Forum.
During the panel discussion “Engineering as a Driving Force of the Economy,” Viktoria Poghosyan, Director External Affairs at Philip Morris Armenia, served as moderator, while Dr Yervant Zorian, President of Synopsys Armenia, joined fellow industry leaders as a speaker to discuss the role of engineering education, innovation, and industry collaboration in building a competitive economy.
ABBC member Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine (ZCMC) was represented by Vardan Jhanyan, First Deputy CEO of ZCMC who participated as a speaker in the panel discussion “Challenges of the Development of the Military Industry.”
Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine (ZCMC) also supported the Forum as its Platinum Partner, contributing to one of Armenia’s leading platforms for dialogue and cooperation across technology and industry.
The Forum highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation between business, academia, and government to foster innovation and drive sustainable economic growth in Armenia.
