Dear ABBC Members and Partners,

I am delighted to write this foreword for the Armenian British Business Chamber's members and wider business community.

For over a decade, ABBC has been one of the British Embassy’s closest partners in Armenia, strengthening the relationship between UK and Armenian businesses and providing an opportunity for businesses to learn from each other’s experiences and grow.

Since arriving in Yerevan, I've been impressed by Armenia's positivity, ambition and determination to build a diverse, creative and strong economy. Ties between Armenia and UK businesses are getting ever more closer and a strong and effective Business Chamber is key to this.

What makes this moment particularly exciting is the alignment between Armenia's economic ambitions and the UK's strengths. The UK offers Armenian businesses something distinctive: political and economic stability, world-class expertise across key sectors and genuine partnership based on shared values.

I've already seen this partnership deliver. Our CyberGen programme is connecting Armenian tech talent with UK opportunities. At London Tech Week, Armenian innovators showcased their capabilities to global investors and an increased package for Armenia opens upUKEF's £5 billion credit facility for Armenian businesses.

For me, I have been is about shared values – democratic governance, transparent regulation, and mutual prosperity. As Armenia continues its economic diversification, the UK stands ready as a reliable and trusted partner with the regulatory and market knowledge, expertise and long-term commitment to support that journey.

I'm confident ABBC will continue raising UK-Armenia business cooperation to new levels, and I look forward to working with you all.
