HAYK HARUTYUNYANChairman of the Board of Directors and a Founding Member of ABBC, Hayk Harutyunyan, founded Global Bridge Educational Centre in September 2007. Having studied at the Regent’s School (IB Diploma), Lancaster University (BA Hons) and Cambridge University (MSt), Mr. Harutyunyan was well aware about the benefits that the British educational system can offer. Hence he decided to create a structure that would promote the British education in Armenia and assist Armenians who wish to pursue their studies in the UK. Centre now serves as a premium quality language centre and educational consultancy. Over the past 4 years it has educated over 700 students and have sent over 100 students abroad.
MAMIKON BOSTANJYANMamikon Bostanjyan graduated City University Business School London in 2002. From 2001 to 2004 owned and managed ”BostInvest-Millfield” IFA. VP Morgan Srtanley Investment Bank in London and Zurich from 2005 to 2006. External Adviser, Eastern European desk at UBS PWM London from 2007. Founding Partner ”A&I UK” Ltd, founding Board Member of MIAK party from 2007.’
ARMINE ISRAYELYANArmine Israyelyan has extensive experience in working for International development projects such as USAID, UNDP, DFID. Having over 12 years of career Armine has coordinated projects in Social Ministries’ reform in the fields of Education and Healthcare; managed tourism development projects and promoted Armenia as a tourism destination in over 14 international tradeshows worldwide, etc. Working for Armenian British Business Chamber Armine’s goal is to involve reputable Armenian and British companies to foster Armenian-British commercial relationship to the benefit of each individual member company and to the benefit of Armenia’s development.
ALAN KUTCHUKIANAlan Kutchukian has 40 years of business experience, thirty years in London and the last ten years in Armenia. He established the KPMG office in Armenia in 1997 and as its managing director he developed KPMG Armenia into a major audit and consulting business with a staff of 80 employees. During his period managing KPMG, Alan Kutchukian established a wide network of clients in Armenia and assisted a large number of international investors. He established Tower International Consultants CJSC in April 2007 with the purpose of placing his knowledge at the disposal of companies and individuals doing business in Armenia. He is supported by a core group of experienced and highly qualified accountants, lawyers and consultants. Alan Kutchukian was born in Cyprus and is a British subject. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA) and speaks English, Armenian, French and Greek.
ALEKSANDR KHACHATURYANAleksandr is a board member of Armenian British Connect. His main activities include covering all legal aspects of organisation’s existence and operation. He also runs projects encompassing issues related to the development and promotion of legal education and attractive legal environment in Armenia. Aleksandr was actively involved in the creation of the Chamber. He has knowledge and experience in the fields of commercial, corporate and financial law. He provided consulting on legal and corporate issues to Armenian and foreign companies and international institutions operating in Armenia.
CHARLES MASRAFFCharles Masraff, graduate of Oxford University, has a strong background in successful small business management in the UK. He moved here from the UK in the summer of 2006. His primary objective is to help Armenia develop into a fully-fledged, modern, democratic and influential country in keeping with its history and the talent of its people.He is sole director of TopTable which is a catering company with a restaurant outlet on Tumanian Street.
GHUKAS KHACHARTYANThe Managing director of Z&A Co. LTD, Ghukas Khachatryan, graduated Yerevan State University faculty for Economics in 2010 (PhD in Economics).
Ghukas operates mainly in franchising market representing such world-famous brands as Burberry, Emporio Armani, Ermenegildo Zegna, etc. consulting for local mass media in luxury segment.
